Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.

SASSA might be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed regarding the large amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office committed to service the area on a regular basis. The assistance issue established for intervention ordeals a superior influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it tough with the office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more means to allow the servicing of all customers and raise access to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
